Bij AMÉA Studio wordt elke glimlach gecreëerd met een doel, zorg en een vleugje luxe allemaal gedreven door mijn passie om vreugde te verspreiden door mijn werk.

 

Als tooth gem artist, orthodontie assistent en mondzorgkunde student bied ik custom smile designs, professionele tandenbleek sessies met gegarandeerd resultaat, en combineer ik mijn kennis binnen de tandheelkunde om op een veilige manier jou tanden te laten shinen.

Het plaatsen van een tandkristal is veilig, pijnloos en zonder boren. De procedure is vergelijkbaar met het plaatsen van een beugel. Met strikte hygiënemaatregelen, professioneel materiaal, kennis en creativiteit heb je bij AMÉA STUDIO de perfecte toothgem studio.

HOE VERLOOPT DE PROCEDURE?
Na een grondige reiniging van de tand wordt er bonding aangebracht om de hechting van de tandcomposiet te optimaliseren. Vervolgens wordt het kristal geplaatst en uitgehard met een UV-lamp.

 

HOE LANG DUURT HET PLAATSEN?
De duur van het plaatsen van een tandkristal hangt af van het specifieke ontwerp. Bij het boeken van je afspraak kun je een inschatting zien van de tijd. Tijdens je afspraak bespreken we alle opties voor het perfecte tandkristal dat bij jou past.

 

BESCHADIGT EEN TANDKRISTAL MIJN TANDEN?
Nee, tandkristallen beschadigen je tanden of glazuur niet. AMÉA STUDIO gebruikt alleen hoogwaardige producten en veilige producten.

 

IS ER EEN GARANTIE?
We bieden een garantie van twee weken, mits de juiste nazorg wordt gevolgd. Via het boekingssysteem kun je een garantie-afspraak plannen. We controleren dan of je nog binnen de garantietermijn valt. Zo niet, dan dien je een nieuwe afspraak te maken.

 

HOE LANG BLIJFT EEN TANDKRISTAL ZITTEN?
Gemiddeld tussen één maand en twee jaar, maar dit verschilt per persoon.

Denk hierbij aan:

de structuur van je tanden
de zuurgraad van je speeksel
je eet- en drinkgewoonten
 
NAZORG

Composietlijm heeft 24 uur nodig om zijn maximale sterkte te bereiken.

 

Daarom:

 

 Eet goed vooraf en poets je tanden!

 En vermijd roken sowieso voor een langere levensduur van je tandkristal.
VERMIJD ZURE/HARDE/PLAKKERIGE VOEDING VOOR 12 UUR.

 Wees altijd voorzichtig met harde etenswaren.
VERMIJD ALCOHOL, FRISDRANK, KOFFIE, FRUITSAP, IJSTHEE EN ANDERE ZURE DRANKEN VOOR 12 UUR.
GEBRUIK ALTIJD EEN ZACHTE TANDENBORSTEL.

 Ja, een elektrische tandenborstel mag ook. Poetsen is belangrijk, maar wees niet te ruw.
LIK OF SPEEL NIET MET JE TANDKRISTAL.

Dit verzwakt de hechting. Het kan even wennen zijn aan het gevoel van een sieraad in je mond.
 
DISCLAIMER

Tandkristallen zijn TIJDELIJK. Sommigen hebben het geluk ze jarenlang te dragen, terwijl ze bij anderen al na een maand loskomen.

Dit komt doordat onze lichamen en levensstijlen verschillen:

De zuurgraad van je speeksel speelt een grote rol.
De structuur van je tanden heeft invloed.
Je dieet is ook een bepalende factor.

We kunnen geen exacte tijdsduur garanderen. Geniet dus van je kristal zolang hij blijft zitten — het is een tijdelijke en mooie vorm van zelfexpressie zonder schade aan je glazuur.

Als je tandkristal loskomt, laat dan de lijmresten verwijderen door je tandarts of bij mij. Sommige tandartsen rekenen hier extra voor, maar vaak is het inbegrepen bij een reguliere contole.

Je mag je tanden ook in de studio poetsen, maar neem dan wel je eigen tandenborstel en tandpasta mee.
GEEN PLAQUE. Ga eerst naar de tandarts als je (veel) tandplak hebt.
GEZONDE TANDEN. We werken alleen met gezonde tanden: geen gezwollen/bloedend tandvlees, teruggetrokken tandvlees, abcessen, aften of wondjes in de mond.
ANNULERINGSBELEID. Afspraken kunnen tot 24 uur van tevoren worden geannuleerd. Let op: aanbetalingen worden niet terugbetaald.
NO SHOW. Bij no-shows zonder bericht word je op de blacklist geplaatst. Ik plan tijd in voor mijn klanten en waardeer het als die tijd wordt gerespecteerd. Natuurlijk kan er altijd iets gebeuren maar laat het mij optijd weten. Let op: aanbetalingen worden niet terugbetaald.
KOM OP TIJD. Er is een toegestane marge van 10 minuten. Kom je later, dan vervalt mogelijk je afspraak én je aanbetaling.
VOORKEUR VOOR BETALING. Bij AMÉA STUDIO hebben we een voorkeur voor contante betalingen boven kaartbetalingen. Dankjewel voor het rekening houden hiermee!

HOW DOES THE PROCEDURE WORK?
After carefully cleaning the tooth, bonding is applied to ensure optimal adherence of the tooth composite. The tooth crystal is then placed and cured with a UV lamp.
 
HOW LONG DOES THE PROCEDURE TAKE?
The duration of placing one tooth crystal varies depending on the specific design. When booking an appointment, you can check the estimated time for your particular design. We will further discuss the options during our appointment to ensure you get the perfect tooth crystal for you.
 
DO TOOTH CRYSTALS DAMAGE MY TEETH?
Tooth crystals do not damage your teeth and/or enamel. AMÉA STUDIO only uses high-quality products and technology.
 
IS THERE A WARRANTY POLICY?
We provide a two-week warranty when proper aftercare is followed. If needed, you can schedule a warranty appointment through our bookingsystem, where we'll immediately verify if you are still within the two-week warranty period. If not, you may need to schedule a new appointment.
 
HOW LONG WILL MY TOOTH CRYSTAL LAST?
On average, between one month and two years, BUT this varies per person.
 
Consider:
> the structure of your teeth
> the acidity of your saliva
> your eating and drinking habits
 
 
AFTERCARE
 
Composite adhesive takes 24 hours to reach maximum strength.
 
Therefore:
> DO NOT EAT HARD THINGS WITHIN 1 HOUR AFTER YOUR TOOTH CRYSTAL IS PLACED. I recommend eating good before your appointment and brushing your teeth!
 
> DO NOT SMOKE WITHIN 1 HOUR AFTER YOUR TOOTH CRYSTAL IS PLACED. Additionally, for the overall lifespan of your tooth crystal, it's generally better to avoid smoking or smoke less!
 
> AVOID ACIDIC/HARD/STICKY FOOD FOR 12 HOURS. Always be cautious, especially with hard foods!
 
> AVOID ALCOHOL, CARBONATED BEVERAGES, COFFEE, FRUIT JUICES, ICED TEA, AND OTHER ACIDIC DRINKS FOR 12 HOURS. 
 
> ALWAYS USE A SOFT TOOTHBRUSH. And yes you can  use an electric toothbrush .Proper brushing is crucial but should not be aggressive.
 
> NEVER LICK OR PLAY WITH YOUR TOOTH CRYSTAL. Licking or touching the tooth crystal weakens the bond. Once the tooth crystal is placed, it takes some time to get used to the feeling of jewelry in your mouth.
 
DISCLAIMER
 
Tooth crystals are TEMPORARY. Some of you may be lucky enough to keep them for years, while others may only have them for a month. This is due to our diverse bodies and lifestyles.
 
But how?
The acidity levels in our mouths vary from person to person. Higher acidity increases the likelihood of a shorter lifespan for your toothgem, and the structure of your tooth also contributes to its duration. Beyond saliva, your diet plays a crucial role.
 
While there are factors we can control, such as avoiding caffeine, (soft) drinks, and high-acid foods, it's essential to note that we cannot specify an exact timeframe for your toothgems longevity. Although I hope they could last for years, as mine has and many of my clients' have experienced, it's crucial to appreciate your jewel while it's present—a delightful and temporary form of self-adornment and expression without consequences for your enamel.
 
When your tooth crystal becomes loose, either have the remaining adhesive removed by your dentist or by me. While some dentists may charge for this service, it's often included in a routine check-up. You can also book this appointment in my booking system.
 
HOUSE RULES
 
> BRUSH YOUR TEETH BEFORE THE APPOINTMENT
Brushing your teeth in the studio is perfectly fine, but please bring your own toothbrush and toothpaste.
 
> NO PLAQUE
Ensure you visit your dentist for a cleaning if you have (a lot of) plaque.
 
> HEALTHY TEETH
We can only work with healthy teeth, so no swollen/bleeding or receding gums, abscesses, ulcers, or cuts in the mouth.
 
> CANCELLATION POLICY
Appointments can be canceled up to 24 hours in advance. Please note: deposits are non-refundable
 
> NO SHOW
No-shows without notice will be blacklisted. I set aside time for my clients and I appreciate it when that time is respected. Of course, things can always come up - just communicate with me. Please note: deposits are non-refundable
 
> BE ON TIME
Please arrive on time. We allow a grace period of 10 minutes. Beyond 10 minutes, you risk losing your appointment and deposit.
 
> PAYMENT PREFERENCE
At AMÉA STUDIO, we prefer cash over card payments. We highly appreciate your consideration of this preference!
